Offered at the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine, DTA members can participate in an intensive 2-day overview
of dentistry. Taught by this prestigious Denver dental school's faculty,
attendees will study the business of a dental practice,
learn dental anatomy and nomenclature, endodontics and other dental specialties.

Hands-on Procedure: Restorative Dentistry attendees got to experience
what it’s like when a dentist drills into a tooth.
Sim Clinic: Attendees discuss the basic steps of mixing the materials for a tooth composite.
The Lecture Hall for the presentations was very nice and spacious.
The participants in the Spring 2009 DTA Mini-Dental School filled out questionaires about the
2-days overall and on each session. 100% of the participant reviewers rated the overall program
as a (5) Very Much/Excellent or a (4) (just one person).
When asked "Will you be able to implement what you have learned from this course in your work?",
the answers were: "Yes - better understanding of industry from 'customer' point of view.";
"Yes"; "Yes, now am better equipped to talk to our end-users - aka dentists - in order to get feedback on new
products, issues, etc."; "Absolutely."; "Indeed."; "Some, but it is good to see what dentists do and how they operate. Will help me sell to them.";
"Yes, I loved the endo unit."; "Yes, very much."; "Yes."; "Definitely!"; and "Absolutely!".
Participants filled out evaluations for each session, on a (5) Very Much/Excellent to (1) Very Little/Poor scale.
